Po Suo Ba Mo, also known as Vasubandhu, was a prominent Buddhist scholar of the Gupta Empire period. He is renowned for his extensive commentaries on Mahayana Buddhist philosophy, particularly his treatise on consciousness, the *Vijnapti-matrata-siddhi* (Treatise on Consciousness Only).
