An Xuan and Yan Fodiao were early translators of Buddhist scriptures into Chinese during the Eastern Han Dynasty. Yan Fodiao is credited with translating the *Puxian Pusa Xingyuan Pin* (Samantabhadra Bodhisattva's Vows Chapter).
