The precise dynasty and period for the Buddhist monk and scholar known as "Hui Guang" (慧广), associated with the text "Miao Yong Ji" (妙用集) which was recompiled by Wu Jin (悟进), are difficult to pinpoint without further context. However, the presence of Ming dynasty prefaces by Fang (方) and Huang Chenghao (黄承昊) suggests that Hui Guang's work, or at least its compilation and dissemination, likely occurred around or before the Ming Dynasty.
