Zhi Yao was a Buddhist monk and translator active during the Eastern Jin Dynasty. He is known for his translation of the *Aṣṭasāhasrikā Prajñāpāramitā Sūtra* (The Perfection of Wisdom Sutra in Eight Thousand Lines).
