Zhuhong (袾宏), also known as Master Lianchi (蓮池), lived during the Ming Dynasty. He was a prolific writer and commentator on Buddhist scriptures, notably authoring the *Shuyue Lu* (疏鈔), a commentary on the *Amitabha Sutra*.
