Yinguang (1861–1940) was a prominent modern Chinese Buddhist monk, often referred to as the "Living Buddha" of Buddhism. He is most known for his extensive compilation and reprinting of Buddhist texts, particularly those related to Pure Land Buddhism, rather than for translating new scriptures.
