Little is definitively known about the monk Shi Guangshen beyond his association with the Northern Wei Dynasty and his purported translation of the Dazhidu Lun (Great Perfection of Wisdom Sutra). However, historical records and scholarly consensus suggest this attribution may be erroneous, as the translation is widely credited to Kumārajīva.
