The Chan master Xingdeng (興燈), also known as Xinliang (心亮), Fayun (法雲), and Xinglang (性朗), was active during the Song Dynasty. He is credited with compiling the *Jingde Chuandeng Lu* (景德傳燈錄), a foundational text in the history of Chinese Chan Buddhism.
