The monk Dao Pu (道璞), a disciple of the esteemed Chan master Yuanwu Keqin (圓悟克勤), lived during the Song Dynasty. He is known for compiling and editing the essential Chan text, the *Record of the Transmission of the Lamp* (Jingde Chuandeng Lu 景德傳燈錄).
