Yuanjing was a monk from the Tang Dynasty, known for his translation of the Mahayana sutra, the "Sutra of the Bodhisattva Garland" (Bodhisattvaprāṇidhāna Sūtra). He played a significant role in the dissemination of Buddhist teachings during his time.
