Dao Cheng, a monk from the Tang Dynasty, compiled and edited texts, notably working on the "Yujuban Puxian Pusa Xingfa Jing" (Text on the Practice of Bodhisattva Samantabhadra in the Lotus Sutra's Second Chapter). His work, compiled by De Ru, was further augmented and printed based on an older manuscript.
