The Chan (Zen) master Jiedian (介谌), active during the Yuan Dynasty, is known for his commentaries on Chan texts, though he is not primarily recognized for translating canonical scriptures. He inherited the Dharma from Master Qiyuan Xinggang and continued the teachings of the Caodong (Sōtō) school.
