Zhixu Zhuan (1599-1655), also known as Yuekui, was a prominent monk and scholar of the late Ming Dynasty. He authored numerous commentaries on Buddhist scriptures, with his comprehensive annotations on the *Avatamsaka Sutra* (Flower Garland Sutra) being particularly noteworthy.
