Nagarjuna, or Longshu Pusa in Chinese, was an Indian Buddhist philosopher from the Kushan Empire, widely considered the second Buddha. He is renowned for his foundational Mahayana texts, most notably the *Mūlamadhyamakakārikā* (Fundamental Verses on the Middle Way), which expounds his philosophy of emptiness (sunyata).
